  8. Air steward sued BA over claim boss called him hot on Grindr – A culture of sexual affairs between members of British Airways staff has been revealed by a manager who said that they happen all the time (The Times)
  9. European court issues ‘worker’ status clarification in Yodel tribunal case – The European Court of Justice (CJEU) has provided clarification around how ‘worker’ status is defined under EU law, but has stopped short of making an official ruling on a case involving the employment status of a Yodel courier in the UK (People Management)
  10. Manufacturer fined after an agency worker was dragged into a press roller – Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court heard that on 19 June 2019, an agency worker at E.G.L. Homecare Limited suffered a severe crush injury to his arm as he attempted to remove dirt from a press roller at the address on Campfield Road, Shoeburyness (HSE)
