However, your new employer often states that they need to “harmonise” the terms and conditions of its new employees with its current employees and this can leave you uncertain as to what the potential consequences of the business transfer may be. Both your old and your new employer should consult with you regarding the transfer of  your employment but employers are often uncertain as to their obligations in such situations.

However, we’ll try and settled your case for you both prior to and during the Employment Tribunal proceedings by engaging with your employer. This may involve the drafting and signing of a compromise agreement.
